I noticed this today, too. Not sure when it changed out of free supercharging, but I have yet to be billed.

Yes. Added phone key on the M3 screen and followed directions on the Tesla app on my phone. It searched but couldn’t communicate. Rebooted phone. Logged out/in the app etc. Nothing.

Just tried soft and hard resetting, then finally deleted phone key. However, when I tried to add a new phone key again, I couldn't -- car could not communicate with the phone. So I've got that going for me now. Thoughts?

For some reason, my car suddenly stopped recognizing my phone and my wife's iPhone when I approached the car to unlock it. I had to use my keycard to get inside. Once inside, the car recognized the phone and accessed my music etc, but as soon as I stepped out... nada. Thoughts?

I live in So Cal and the temp has been fairly consistent the last few weeks. Battery always between 40-80% and haven't noticed it better/worse depending on the battery level.

Anybody else noticed the regenerative braking isn't as strong as it used to be? Ever since I upgraded to 2019.5.4 my car feels like it doesn't slow as quickly as it used to (setting is on standard). I'm currently on 2019.5.15 and it still feels like I'm using the brakes more than I used to...

Just my $.02... I'm coming from a 5 series BMW and my RWD M3 crushes it in terms of performance. I was waffling between AWD and RWD, but to be honest... RWD is plenty powerful enough to scare my kids and my father-in-law when I floor it. I personally don't think the AWD is worth losing the tax...

I guess it could be read like that. Just seems like charging 20 minutes here and there wouldn't be a good thing.

Before you give a holier-than-thou response, why don't you read the manual yourself to see that the answer...

I know this isn’t a cell phone, but how far down should I let the battery get before charging the 1st time? Also, any downside to charging multiple times between full (80%) charged? ie If my battery is at 50% and I plug it in at the free mall charger for 30 minutes, will repeatedly doing this...

Yes, me being in LA certainly helps with the quick turn around. I just find it interesting that my car was either made to order right away, or it was built weeks/months ago and they slapped an August build sticker on it.

Sorry, yes... It was built 08/2018. I got the call on 8/3 saying it was done. Literally a week after I ordered it (not the 2-4 month window they were quoting).

I’m in as well for 11/16. Car hasn’t been delivered yet (Sept-Nov) but figured I needed to reserve now. FWIW, Doug told me our group has close to 60 reservations with him.

At this point all we have is the upcoming M3. Daughter will be driving in 6 months and at that point we'll get a J1772 car for my wife. Does charging with the Tesla wall connector offer anything more than plugging into a standard J1772? (i.e. More info in the Tesla app etc)

I read about that, but also a lot of blowback from people thinking this was to steal power from Tesla charging stations. Just want something stable/leagl/non-fire inducing for home use.

Can I charge a non-Tesla EV using a Tesla wall connector at home? I know there are aftermarket adaptors that are supposed to work, but not sure what the current thinking is. Thanks!
