I am always curious how many legacy Tesla have been manufactured from 2012-2015 (110k?), and how many of them need battery replacements .. 5-10-20%? and out of them how many of them will seek outside venue help other than Tesla, this can give some hints how busy all of them can be at any certain time.
From what I’ve been tracking, Your guess is about right.
2012 3000
2013 15000
2014 40000
2015 60000
All are approximate

Anyone willing to start a new post, as a poll, on what we think happened to 057tech?
Only these choices IMHO:

- Tesla bought him out to silence this persistence and „in depth“ critic.

- his battery swap model did not work out.

- the precautions needed for a real battery replacement Business are horrendous: separate cooled bunkers, concrete walls, no available insurance for all that. In case of a battery rundown intelligent fire protection systems etc. All in allem much too costly. That’s what caused the two desastrous fires @Gruber motors.

- midlife crisis. „All that ain’t worth it“

It's interesting that the 057 Website is still up, with Jason Hughes personally Twitter Links all over it etc.
Jason has been active on Twitter/X over the last 2-3 months, but almost purely in a Bitcoin related sense/interest.
It seems all his time/efforts have swung behind this new endeavour.

Surely with the near passing of 6 months or so, the community here deserves some sort of explanation about 057 Tech and what actually has occurred.
