12/14 p85D top speed

i took delivery of a CPO p85D last month with a 12/14 build. The gal told us that the top speed would be 155. However it’s limiyed to 130. Anyone else know if it should be 155? I asked service and they didn’t know either.

How do you know it was limited to 130mph, I have never taken it above 100mph or so. Where are you about to make such a sprint?

I had the exact same issue, was limited to 132 for some strange reason, with no red number. Now I have hit 153 in red font as my best. If the speed sensor is current you might need a new drive unit. It took my service center several tries before they finally resorted to replacement, which fixed the issue...

Thanks for the info! Will call service Monday and schedule the TSB fix.

FWIW the car feels as stable and planted at 132 as it does at 65. My previous 11/13 p85 always felt a little squirley above 120.

I’ve had mine up to 240kmh (150mph) on the Autobahn. I’m not a fast car expert but it was very stable and very smooth. No shakes or vibrations of any kind, just totally planted. But is consuming power like hell at that speed and god knows what it’s doing to the tires.
