I have 19’s and Tsportline springs, very comfy ride. For anyone who’s been able to test each one, how does the ride comfort compare? Which has the bumpier ride?
I’ve read one is a smoother ride than the other, then read the opposite elsewhere. Curious to hear your firsthand accounts.
Except for very early builds, the recommended pressure is the same for both sizes (42 PSI).Edmunds tested both and found the 19" to have a more comfortable ride. This is likely due to the lower PSI of the tires.
19s aren't worth it. 18s are lighter, offer the same width tire and can be used with snow tires. You can get 19" aftermarket rims that look better and are lighter than stock 19s (if you actually want larger rims that 18").
I'm a bit concerned as I'm about to pull the trigger on the 20" rims since they come with the performance model.
sigh, unfortunately Tesla makes the 20" rims compulsory when purchasing performance modelFrom what I understand the 20’s have a bit of a bent rim problem so I’m looking at 18’s vs. 19’s.

Only with the Performance Upgrade Package - you can get 18" wheels with the P-
....unless something about what they offer has changed, which it very well might have.
Ok, and forged 18s are even lighter...You can get forged 19s that are lighter than the stock 18s.
