Well.. 20K miles is hardly a lot. It only seems high mileage if you compare with the 4K one.

And for me, the 85 would be the sweet spot. It would allow me to travel almost 100% of my annual drives without stopping.

My opinion would be to go with the larger battery.

I wouldn't worry about the mileage as much as you will be getting the CPO warranty on both cars, which is 4 years or 50,000 miles.

85 for sure. The 2014 is the old S60 and IMO a very undesirable car once it ages. If you plan to keep you car forever and never to sell it and travel mostly in the city, then the 60 might be better at 4K miles because there might be less wear.

But for everything else, the S85 will beat it.

slightly faster to 60mph, albeit probably imperceptible.

Keep in mind, the old 60 doesn't have unlimited battery and powertrain warranty. Unless I read the warranty agreement incorrectly for the CPOs, I think you only get the remaining of the original battery and powertrain warranty.

The original S60 got only 8 years, 125K miles if I remember correctly.

So if you do travel a lot the next 5/6 years and will be going over 125K miles, I recommend the S85 for unlimited miles warranty on the battery and powertrain.

Larger battery all the way. You will get faster charging and other benefits over the classic 60kW I believe.
