2012 MS Badging?

Here's my recently purchased #2446 MS P85 at TSC awaiting replacement reman HV battery. Did the 2012 MS's not come with badging (in this case P85 badging)? Thx.

You can find the part in the Tesla Parts Catalog using your account login, and order through the app by creating a service ticket, other, Parts Only, and provide the part number and description.

I have this dim recollection of the earliest Model S not having the battery pack size badges (i.e. "60", "85", "P85"). But either way, you can order what you need from Tesla as linked above.

You may be on to something. After posting earlier, I did a search on cars.com. All the 2012 P85s listed (especially those with sub 3000 VINs) did not show badging in their pics.

That is non-original (but good looking).
My 2014 85+ has badging, factory original, but was delivered in Europe, don’t know if that made a difference.

I have a 2013 model S with a 4XXX vin (Jan 2013 manufacturing date) and can confirm that it also has no badge.

Thx. I'm starting to lean towards mine not coming with a badge. Original owner also indicated that it did not come with a badge.
