2016's getting pushed back?

Yah, this is the part where you totally loose sight of the car.... the in-transit delivery process.
I suspect it is going to Chicago by train. From there many northeast cars travel on from Chicago to Newark NJ.
However that would not be correct for your final destination.
You may want to ask the delivery specialist what the second train yard is... It may be Baltimore MD??
And then from there trailer to your SC?

From what I've read on other threads here, it looks like Fremont -> Chicago -> Birmingham and then trailer to Atlanta from there.

Not for me. My agreement is still dated 1/1/16, the day I confirmed the order, and hasn't changed even though my car is in transit from the factory to my local SC.

Good to know, I originally asked for April delivery then in the beginning of January, I requested it to be earliest delivery. I received my VIN 4 weeks ago, the delivery estimate remained unchanged giving me no clue when production may start.

Received an email today from our DC, saying the car has entered production. The website reports a big nothing for the estimated delivery date.

Yeah, it's a bug on their site. That changes once production is finished (seems to be averaging about 5 days currently), at which point you'll see a more specific window (most people seem to be getting windows of 2 to 3 weeks, starting about 2 weeks out -- at least for us on the east coast)

It's not easy sometimes to be an immigrant. Spend almost 8 hours today trying to secure financing. Even with great credit score and successful car loan in the past...

But all good, with 2.19% for 75 month it's almost free money. Delivery not scheduled yet, but probably on or around February 18.

Also bough some accessories today to celebrate:

Hi, @vitaliy,

Congrats on the S85D arriving soon and on the great car loan!

Since I see you are into customizing your vehicle, if you don't mind, I'll suggest a few other things you might like:

+ "Lighted T" Tesla badges, for front and/or back -- see thread by @artsci
+ Illuminated (or not) door sill covers from ForMyTesla.com -- they also have other products

Disclaimer: I am a customer of the above products and know a little bit the guys involved in them, and think they are very talented and honest

Also, I have become a big fan of Xpel paint protection film. Not at all a cheap investment; depending on who you have apply it, may cost $4K-$6K to cover the whole car. I started out by covering the front of the car and passenger doors; realized how great it was and came back to finish the rest of the car. When I think of the number of times I've subsequently scratched or dinged something, and wound up either being able to wash the Xpel or simply replace a piece of the Xpel, I find that I've saved more money in aluminum body repair costs than I have spent on the Xpel. Significantly more.

Hope you love your car!

Alan

Yeah, I've been wondering which paint protection system to use. I'm not wanting to spend a small fortune but still want adequate protection.
