It truly is amazing that Tesla is still on track to produce the Model 3 starting in July.

Looks like they will hit their ambitious internal target.

This means 100k+ Model 3 deliveries in 2H17.

I expect sell-side analysts to revise their 2017 and 2018 top-line estimates upward in the coming days.

If they didn't believe Tesla's target before what makes you think they will now?

Each day that passes with the production target not revised down increases the probability of it being realized. Time is on the longs' side.

To not be misleading, this is my largest account. I'm doing ok, but not spectacular.
Part of that is that I've deleveraged _significantly_ (historically speaking)

What Elon just mentioned about the loaner being top of the line, better then your own car: I actually experienced exactly that two weeks ago. I got a Model X P90DL loaner, and kept it for a week! Went on a road trip from San Francisco to LA and put over 1000 miles on it. It was a blast!

Yeah heard that, but why would the Y have 3 times the wiring harness than the X? I thought the Y was going to be simpler to construct. He mentioned different voltage and redundancy. Could this also be AP3?

After-hours volume is low and easily manipulated/knee jerk. The initial movements were all over the place, as is typical, and only settle out when the big guns come in with the earnings call.

Ok, I think you can start passing that collection plate around now.

As I understood the Model-Y will have very significantly LESS wiring... as in 10 times or so less.

It won't. Y will have 100m of wiring - that is all.

Also surprised the Y will not be based on the Model 3 drivetrain. This ER call is very informative.
