Pretty remarkable. I had considered "on time" to be production start in Sept/Oct. and I think I was one of the optimists.

One year ago almost nobody thought this was possible. Kudos to Elon and the Tesla team. Looking forward to seeing the production ramp over the next few months.

o Reinforces what they have been saying. Manufacturability is the priority.

My initial reaction is this is far slower than what I thought.

What's more Jonas and most of Wall Street have about 2,000 2017 deliveries in their models. Of course, be ready for possible selective "reporting" by financial media to ignore that and frame this as a dissapointment (may run with misleading notion that Tesla previously guided for 100K 2017 deliveries)
