If it were 34900 versus 38200 that is 3300 behind. Tesla builds up to 2000 per week (S + X) Total production in Q4 was 24887 and Q3 was 25180.

Do we know the % of X vs. S being built?

It isn't a simple function of VIN # as priority. I am a 90D with a VIN of 348xx, so if it were purely VIN, I imagine I'd be in production. It appears they are going for non-CA cars right now, but that's just my pet theory. For all I know, they are out of red paint or some other detail on my car.

Chatter in other threads has DS telling customers that the factory will stop production for what they say is 10 days some time in February. I wonder how that will affect things as far as deliveries in Q1 go. Is it 10 calendar days (probably) or 10 week days? Speculation is for stamping equipment for eventual use of the Model 3 line. Of course, what the DS tells a customer who posts here could all be random thoughts.

My February-early March has been in Production since 2/3. It's just a game checking the site a few times a day. Curious. We ordered in August with the Sales to stating all orders before the end of the month get free delivery. It's all in emails. Has anyone with a delayed delivery had issues getting Tesla to honor it?

My P90D vin:024191 has been in production for a week now. I'm hoping to see a status change today/tomorrow to in transit. I'm in Sydney, so they'll need to get it on the boat asap if they are to honour their late March delivery.
