Summons is nice but I would much rather have the car parked too close next to me to have summons. I would really like Calendar sync added to the 3.

I think cal sync is there, no? I see the option in the app but have no use for it.

It's on the app but not on the car - I think on the app is generic for all cars and currently works on the S & X.

The app exposes more capabilities based on the firmware of the car it connects to.
That's why you can set options for summon notifications but can't actually summon your Model 3.

Can we please call it "Summon" and not "Summons"? I know its minor but its like when people called the iPod Touch the iTouch... it slowly ate away at my sanity.

Man, I won't use it for situations like that. Just invites door ding carnage. Then again with all of my cars I tend to park so far from where I'm going I might as well use Uber to get to the front door.

I would not be trying to squeeze my Model 3 in between some cars where a child is likely to flail open a door.

I usually park as far away as possible. A little walking never hurt anyone.

I am in 100% agreement with you. BUT, I bought a brand new Porsche years ago. I parked out in left field of a shopping mall, no cars within 50 yards. Someone came along and keyed it! My current strategy is to park relatively close in but in an end stall right next to the side curb. That way I can eliminate at least 50% of the potential exposure to damage.
