2018.24 has Summon for M3?

Paging @Spiffywerks, who astutely requested that 2018.24 be installed today while his car was in for service ...
Doh, I picked up my car yesterday from the SC and they did a firmware on the bmorning but was still 21.9. If only they took an extra day.

I suspect WiFi and Summon had to go hand in hand. Summon is probably more reliable at home when the Model 3 is connected to WiFi. Perhaps the Model 3 wakes from sleep faster on WiFi when pinged by the app?

I would guess that summon would use the Bluetooth connection - seems more reliable/less lag than WiFi/LTE. I guess I can test once I get summon.
Extra wide parking spaces,
I thought the parking spaces were like the bagels where you HAD to take two otherwise they refuse to ring you up.

- You may not have good cellular service where you part (at home or work). That makes it difficult to use the Tesla smartphone app to pre-heat or pre-cool the cabin with the HVAC. Turning on wi-fi for internet corrects that.
- The general consensus is that Tesla gives software updates out quicker to people that park their cars where they have wi-fi service since this could reduce Tesla's cellular data bill a little. Parking somewhere with wi-fi might get you the latest software update a little quicker.

If it's anything like the S loaner I just had, you want WiFi so the car stops asking you to set it up every time you get in your car.

MY GOD this is annoying! My loaner does that ALL THE TIME. Its quite annoying.... Tempted to just set it up so it stops bugging me.

Can’t believe there are no YouTube videos showing summon on a model 3 yet! Starting to believe this is a unicorn.
My 3 is still on 2018.21.9.
Per Elon's twitter feed, he's stating the Model 3 software update is rolling out today.
Looks like the S & X crowd got the update pushed a little earlier. Give it another 24 hours and I'm sure there will be something... I'm dying for it too!

Picked up my car today, and this is the version it had.I swung by the service center to pick up a part, got 21.9

I got 2018.24 on the 21st and installed on the 22nd. However, there was an issue with it so I had to revert it back to 2018.21.9 today. 2018.26 is coming soon so I might have to wait even longer for summon.
