I’d suggest you just keep calling them. At some point you’ll get through to someone who is more helpful and will sort it out for you. A lot of them can’t do tonnes at the minute because they’re so busy.

Has anyone ever paid for a transporter to pickup and deliver a car?

At one stage I asked my local garage who do vehicle recovery. They quoted £315 for a 220 mile round trip.
Tesla were happy to hand over to them.
I didn’t go ahead with it in the end

Have you had an text saying your car is still available in March?
If so, call them, they’ll give you the reg so you can insure and target either Monday or Tuesday.
If you haven’t had the text, you’ll get very little from Tesla staff until they have shifted all the March cars.

Not had that text yet, car is paid in full and they know I’m an nhs worker so hopefully they will be able to deliver early next week. I’ve already been notified of the reg and got insurance quote from Novo - have been told they can set this up within 15 minutes when I know car is definitely coming. Thanks for the heads up, will give them a call.

I’m just leaving to collect at 11:00 and confirmed they’re expecting me. Still not showing in the app but this may be because it’s leased?

Mine did not appear in the app until Tesla marked it as “delivered” - I had been sitting in it for ten minutes at that point

Collected from Leeds this morning. Charged to about 60% which was fine. Few minor defects but nothing major, just marked seats and trim. Really happy with it, and the team at Leeds have been amazing.

only problem I have is the lease company have not put the correct email address in the order, so no app access at all for me unfortunately until someone in Amsterdam sorts it apparently. Can’t be helped, but an amazing motor to sit in on the driveway.

Yes, the original spec! We are still waiting on an actual delivery date and a final invoice though. But we have a reg. can’t get hold of them!

Can't deny that I'm frustrated with the lack of communication when they're seemingly delivering cars at random, regardless of them being essential. Not had another date or any mention of home delivery.

It wouldn't be Tesla if everything was organised and made sense, would it?

Spotted this today when going around the car today, thought “great, how are they supposed to fix air bubbles and poor adhesion here”...

... turns out there was a plastic protector on it that hadn’t been peeled off.

How obvious is it if the screen has one on? It doesn’t look like it does, and the driver side B pillar protector had already been taken off, so I’m wondering if the screen has already been done. I don’t want to start picking at the corners like a nutcase lol.

Hopefully it's the same guy that delivered mine. Covered transport, and he was very careful driving it off the trailer. Didn't catch his name or the company he worked for, unfortunately, as I would've liked to have given him a good review.
