Actually, if you do the math, if the Model S performance increased from 348 to 387, the LR S should increase from 402 to 447?I agree. I think he will update cars with H pack to 420 mile range too.

Anyone know when Tesla will let you order and how long it will take to get delivery?
Thanks
I ordered a model S long range plus in early October and will be picking it up in 2 days. According to the VIN, it is a 2021 model.I’ll take your advice and wait until end of December. Thanks

Order in early October 2020 and getting a 2021 model in 2 days.Has anyone who ordered in January been given the precious year's model? Or does Tesla always ask before giving you something out of inventory, even if it is an exact match?
When in October did you order? I ordered mine on October 9 but still waiting for VINOrder in early October 2020 and getting a 2021 model in 2 days.
Do you have the VIN by any chance?Refused delivery. WAY too many defects in and out. Sticker stated 409 miles of range.
I hope you had a good experience with your new car.Oh, that dampens my enthusiasm significantly. Sigh. Sorry that you (almost) got such a poorly put together car. I'd better get ready for the inspection....

I ordered Oct 15, still no vin.I am also on the east cost. Brooklyn.Picked up mine yesterday. Love it.
See for yourself... I would not have rejected delivery for a subset of these, but the whole accumulation scared me off (and I was so eager to drive it before inspecting it!...)
1. The whole front bumper was not correctly assembled.
2. Rocker panels not aligned on front; they aligned fine on the back - rocker panel not long enough?
3. Loose undercoats of the wheel wells (a plastic nut even fell from one of them), the cover of the trunk well also didn't fit (could not put it in place!).
4. Hood plastic not assembled (didn't try to put it in place, but maybe easy fix).
5. Taillights... omg where do I start... Excessive glue, dirt behind the taillight, left black cover not mounted properly (right one was OK), I almost could cut my finger with the exposed metal...
6. Interior was dirty (and they told me the car had just left the detailer)
7. Door seals were loose, you could almost take them off easily with a simple pinch.
8. And finally the overall quality of materials is much poorer than what I expected compared to my friend's 2017 Model S (pre-Raven), like the seats feel plastic instead of being leather; I guess I now know firsthand where the cut in prices comes from.

The lowest price one. Hopefully it will be delivered by next monthCongrats! What config did you get?
I wouldnt call the model s a “new model” and they’ve had more than a few vehicles roll off the assembly line by now. It's not uncommon for the first few vehicles off the assembly line in a new model line to have some issues. Use a co-inspector and have a plan. Practice beforehand on your car, itemizing defects. Compare notes with your co-inspector.
