Which tires?I'm a spirited driver, have a 2020 MY LR dual motor, and still have tread on the original tires at 39,000 miles.
53k miles. Pic of rear tires. 20 inch induction wheelsAnyone in the 50K club, please post a pic of your tires w/the inside and outside bars visible. Depth measurements appreciated. I always see these posts but don't remember seeing any with actual data.
Were these ever rotated? I'm guessing yes?53k miles. Pic of rear tires. 20 inch induction wheels
Well that's just amazing. What brand and model are these tires.53k miles. Pic of rear tires. 20 inch induction wheels
Continentals. I rotated the tires after 12 months even though the Tesla service said I didn't need it, haven't rotated them since because the wear is even all the way around.Which tires?
You rotate when rhe wear is evenContinentals. I rotated the tires after 12 months even though the Tesla service said I didn't need it, haven't rotated them since because the wear is even all the way around.
You rotate when rhe wear is even
Every 6500 miles
If it becomes uneven, you missed mile mark
This.Guidelines like rotating every 6500 miles are fine, but sometimes they are overkill.
I have 47,574 miles on original Continentals as of today. Tread wear is even and lots of good tread left. Rotated once at 19,948 miles. Rotating 6 additional times would not have helped my tires at all.
Huge difference in MYP rear 21’ tires: You can’t rotate them, no camber adjustment; Lucky if one gets 25K miles out of them.I'm a spirited driver, have a 2020 MY LR dual motor, and still have tread on the original tires at 39,000 miles.
Big difference in tire size and wear on the MYP; 21’ are staggered, can’t rotate, no camber adjustment; Rear tires wear out very quickly; I doubt anyone can get 30K miles out of them. Front do go longer.Bought the car in January and rear tires bald at 8k?
I have a 2020 MY still on stock tires with 53k miles. All 4 tires still good!
Did you just go 5K miles plus in your posts in just five minutes? That’s a great newsBig difference in tire size and wear on the MYP; 21’ are staggered, can’t rotate, no camber adjustment; Rear tires wear out very quickly; I doubt anyone can get 30K miles out of them. Front do go longer.
Do yourself a favor and take it to a Goodyear store. For roughly $180. they will give you a 3-year alignment package. Tesla wanted just shy $300. For one alignment.Sorry, wife has a 2023 MY Long Range with 8k miles. I took a closer look at it this morning and it looks like there is outer wear on the tire. Will Tesla cover a wheel alignment at this point?
Is there anything special about Tesla alignments that only a Tesla SC can do?Do yourself a favor and take it to a Goodyear store. For roughly $180. they will give you a 3-year alignment package. Tesla wanted just shy $300. For one alignment.
