Model 3 Performance in Black with Black/White interior. No confirmed delivery date yet though but I don have the VIN.

So weird - I have confirmed delivery date but no VIN (also via LeasePlan). So random 😂

I've got a golden ticket....I've got a golden ticket.....sorry, I've found a hidden VIN. MY LR Blue/Black/Towbar ordered last July for delivery to Cork in Ireland.
That's a lot of hours reading this and the 2022 forum and thousands of checks for a VIN. Delivery window of 23/02 to 10/03. I can't wait. Any idea what ship is issuing the VINs today.

The Hoegh Chiba isn't on the tracking map I think. I got a VIN from that Ship also.

I just called Tesla and asked them 😃 . They did say the VIN was still subject to change though...

BE order - MY RWD white, black interior, 20" rims. Order placed Jan 23rd, VIN received Jan 29th, delivery window Feb 14th-26th.

Found it using the 'Tesla VIN finder' extension in Chrome. Install it and navigate your Dashboard, then detail page. It should display this if it finds a hidden VIN.

According to 'my cargo' on board Hoegh Trapper, left Shanghai Jan 18th, ETA Zeebrugge Feb 22nd. So the car was already on board before me ordering it 🤔

I think that’s right. No way of checking.
But you can guesstimate based on your delivery / collection date or window.

Did you ask your lease company for the VIN or did Tesla just text it to you?

Tesla customer service confirmed a car had been allocated and the lease company gave me the VIN when I asked.

I suspect it is the second ship based on my delivery date range (no text received yet).

Log into your account and then using Ctrl-U to show the source code, search for the VIN using, Ctrl-F "LRW" LRW is the first 3 characters of the VINs from China.

It seems Tesla predicts what will sell over the next 12 weeks (or so) and makes these cars in batches of identical specs. Then sometime after the ships have left China the cars are matched to orders with any remaining cars going on the website as inventory.

(CLearly each ship contains multiple production batches)

Do we know how long typically the cars take to be prepared once in Southampton?

So if 2500 cars turn up, I wonder how long it takes the Tesla teams to prepare all of them and send them off to their various destinations.

I still haven't got a VIN even though the EDD is February 22 - March 10, is there anyone else here with a quicksilver MY from Berlin who hasn't got a VIN yet?
