Somebody said in another forum at this size it rubs when the car is very weighted down. Does that happen to any of you?

Someone else on an fb group said that when the car is very weighted down the tires do rub on his MYP. I have to imagine it would be 5 adults and a trunk full of luggage to do this. Thoughts? So a 1" difference in the front height wise. I imagine only going over pretty harsh bumps would cause any rubbing then. Thanks!
There’s no rubbing on any of the wheels with this slightly bigger size, correct?
How’s the change in efficiency?
So far I’m very impressed by the noise, they actually seen him in quieter than the stock 19 Geminis my friend has on his Y.So how’s the noise level for the Crossclimate2 compared to the stock 20” Goodyear?
Found this thread from your sale post, thanks! Been having trouble finding in stock tires in 255/40/20. Was going to try the CC2 255/45/20’s, did you keep yours or did you go with something else? If so why/what?So far I’m very impressed by the noise, they actually seen him in quieter than the stock 19 Geminis my friend has on his Y.

Thanks! My rear tires are in bad shape and we’ve gotten 2” today in MI and it wasn’t fun going for a short drive. Was planning on buying winter tires (which I waited too long) and then buying summer tires in the spring. Maybe these will work for both and they’re cheaper then any of the other tires I have been trying to get.Kept them. They are the perfect size.
They are very quiet, ride nicely with the extra sidewall, and I’m excited to see how they do in the snow.
Cool. You’re running them on 20” uberturbines not Indcuctions right? So I would guess the inductions should sit a bit lower as their width is 9.5” vs 9” on the Ubers. I’m also running a LR not P.When the wheels are turned 100% there’s about half an inch gap from the sidewall to the tire which seems OK. Much less than that I would be worried about rubbing.
These are about an inch bigger in diameter than the typical Tesla oem sized tire.
Yeah I bought some model 3 uberturbines. 9” for the Ubers, correct.Cool. You’re running them on 20” uberturbines not Indcuctions right? So I would guess the inductions should sit a bit lower as their width is 9.5” vs 9” on the Ubers. I’m also running a LR not P.
You have the speedometer set to the uberturbines 21?View attachment 734129
255/45/20 Vredestein Wintrac Pro just installed today on my inductions. I’ve only put 30 miles on them but up to 65 mph I don’t notice a ton of road noise, ride seems slightly softer, tires certainly feel softer but it was about 50* today so a little warm for a winter compound. No rubbing, speedometer seems to be off by less than 2mph if it says I’m doing 65 I’m doing closer to 63 according to Waze gps I’ll break out my Garmin this weekend to verify. Too early for a review but initially I’m happy
Didn't even think of that, someone smashed into me on black Friday so it'll be a while before I have it back / a new one depending on what insurance says. You have the speedometer set to the uberturbines 21?
I have mine set to 20” inductions.Didn't even think of that, someone smashed into me on black Friday so it'll be a while before I have it back / a new one depending on what insurance says.
Thanks for the tip!
and how accurate is it?I have mine set to 20” inductions.
I wouldn’t even think or worry about it. Yes I’m 255/45r20.and how accurate is it?
i am thinking of going 265 40 20 on the inductions.. you are 255 45 20?
Yes, its very close. I am considering the 265/40 for more rim protection.I wouldn’t even think or worry about it. Yes I’m 255/45r20.
Your 265/40 is even less of a concern.

Has anyone tried a 265 45 20 on a MYP? might that be a step too far?Yes, its very close. I am considering the 265/40 for more rim protection.
thanks!
I wouldn't go that big. It's already cutting it only about .5 inch away when the front wheels are fully turned.Has anyone tried a 265 45 20 on a MYP? might that be a step too far?
