I just set mine to 42 psi. But I never really thought about it. Curious to see what others are doing. What PSI do you all run the Vredestein quatrac pro’s at? On 255/45R20
I asked because as I was googling around, I was reading how there are actually 2 tire PSIs:I just set mine to 42 psi. But I never really thought about it. Curious to see what others are doing.
Extremely interested in your results. As I have the exact same vehicle, have driven 35K miles on the OEM Goodyear F1 + 20" Inductions and my life time wh/mi is 257. Good chance I'm going with the 275/40R20's.. as the only tire I want to purchase is the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4. And from all reports.. the 255 on the factory wheels seems undersized and extremely stretched. Someone just posted these pictures on facebook:I just installed 245/45/20s on my car. Firestone firehawks. The drive home was quiet and smooth. Over the 37k miles I have had my standard range Y I averaged a very consistent 254 wh/m Lets see what these different size tires do. I realize the car will be going faster than the speedometer. I am not sure if the wh is determined by odometer miles / energy used ? if that is the case, it will think the car is less efficient. In reality, you are going about 2.4% more.
Yes they work great.Does anyone have an update on using 255-45-20 tires on model y long range with induction wheels?
How many miles do you have on tires and thanks for quick reply.Yes they work great.
Do your tires look undersized just as the previous pics of the 19 inch wheels with 255-45-19?Yes they work great.
I love my 255/45/20 AS4's. On MPP Coilovers, dropped 0.5" and some sound deadening. Once I got the new tires (which were like $70/tire cheaper than 255/40/20's), they instantly felt more cushiony. I just feel like that made a huge difference, anyone else agree?
12k miles on my cross climate 2’s. No complaints whatsoever. How many miles do you have on tires and thanks for quick reply.
I’m at over 20k miles and no complaints. 255-45-20 Crossclimate 2 on stock Model Y induction wheels.Does anyone have an update on using 255-45-20 tires on model y long range with induction wheels?
