wow. It is my opinion that a 10 day window is legit. (As legit as you can get with Tesla. )

.... Just got a vin EDD 8/17-21!
Sigh... 3 days after adding FSD.... Yes gonna remove it....
My OD was 7/30/21!!!

Literally just added FSD 2 days ago.

Seems like all 3 of us who just got a VIN were white on white. I wonder if I even needed to add FSD

It’s not a coincidence. Can you remove FSD?

Again, your build is rolling off the line consistently. You just weren’t getting one because your build didn’t give Tesla enough profit margin.

Seeing @EVY22 get one without FSD is making me wonder if it’s a coincidence.

I don’t have the Remove FSD button. I didn’t even have the button before the VIN. Going to call SA after scheduling delivery

Someone said you have to hit the edit design button? I haven’t looked for that

It could be coincidence, but I feel like it isn't. All in all, I'm just happy that people are getting VINs, as it seems that these 7 seaters get made in waves.

OD 11/2, we got backed up to late August. We were fed up, and I added FSD on 7/28. The next day my EDD went to January-March (which gave my SO a heart attack). Yesterday our EDD moved to 8/11-8/23. We feel pretty strongly that FSD moved the dial for us, but we're not too relieved until we get a VIN.

Decided to play the FSD game and hope to actually get a VIN soon. EDD is currently 8/2 - 8/16. I did already gave EAP on the order so not sure if it'll matter.

EDD shortened 1 week. Still a 4 week window. Aug 17 - Sep 14 was Sep 21. As Adam Sandler would say: Whoopidee doo! Lol Really not even wanting the car anymore.

That might explain it based on other posts in this forum. But you should be able to remove it by texting SA

My EDD was just pushed back slightly to 9/1 - 10/6. The window is a bit shorter, but starts 2 weeks later.

Funnily enough, I'm seeing threads on Reddit telling people to switch to 7 seaters so that they are more likely to be delayed into 2023 and thus be eligible for the possible new EV credit. So these super long 7-seater lead times have become a feature !
