I just read through the Tax Credit and Model Y delivery thread as well as some info for the requirements which assuming both myself and the Model Y meet, then refusing my pre Jan 1 2023 delivery now and reordering and accepting delivery early next year would only save me ~$500 after taxes mainly due to the 6.5% MN vehicle sales tax and the increase in prices since I ordered in November last year. I think the chance of my current order getting pushed past Jan 1st 2023 is very slim however there is some comfort in knowing that I'm not losing much by missing the tax rebate.

Wow - I have nothing on some of you long-timers. It's still disappointing to get pushed, especially when the EDD was already pretty far out. I hope you get your VIN really soon. Your order looks very similar to mine and bluewhite79 and he and I received VINs within 48 hours of each other. So I hope you get yours soon!
