I say was because my VIN disappeared from the app and website some time tonight. Hoping it comes back in the morning and isn't a repeat of last time they need up.

I guess the interior part is false or maybe off by a few numbers... Is that xx or xxx on your VIN?

Article says "Fremont-made Model Y Long Range units have gained matrix LED headlights, according to u/sudowork on their Model Y with late VIN 516xxx."

When more people pickup delivery towards the end of the month like me. We can get a confirmation if the interior and headlights are upgraded or not.

I saw that article by (u/sudowork) and thats what got me excited. his vin# is F516xxx (F is for Fremont, and 518 is the beginning of his vin#. the XXX is just the rest of the vin#). people don't want to give there whole vin#. I actually like the old style white door panels, but the new matrix head lights are really cool. The car is still amazing

I think this is why they are making us wait so long…because at this point I just want the car. If you would have asked me a couple months ago I would be excited to wait to possibly get the matrix headlights. Now I am like “just give me my car”.

I got first text on 8/1 saying my model y has just left our factory. Then on 8/6 text said to schedule delivery.

pick up our car yesterday. OOD 10/14/21 today was the first full day with the car, and all I can say is, it was definitely worth it.

Some of these EDDs (any my own as well, even though I ordered 4 months ago) seem to be the same as the estimates from Tesla's website if I would order today! That doesn't seem quite right. Do you think our EDDs will pull back in or will people ordering today slip furtehr out?

Adding FSD (on 8/3) probably worked. I just got my first 2 week window, EDD (8/9) now is 8/16~8/30. I will let you guys know if it sticks.

8/16 has come and passed and still no VIN. Today the EDD changed to 8/23~9/6. Hope to get the new matrix lights and new door panels.
