Hi!
My new P85+ delivery is September 5th so I'll hopefully make this drive!

I'm neighbors with Tesla in Hawthorne by the way so if any of you are hanging at the supercharger please drop on by my office and say hello! I'm at 3523 Jack Northrop.

Best,
Ben

You'll make lots of friends if you install a NEMA 14-50 so that even Roadster owners can stop by to say "hi".

Oh and pencil me in... I'll have to check on a few commitments and wait until we actually take delivery of our Roadster. Unless this is only for Model S drivers, then I'm not getting one for a few months.

My Blog (mainly Active E for now and Tesla stuff as it grows...)
BMW Active E driver with 42,500 miles in 18 months. Signature Green Roadster #40 SOON (new delivery of September 1, 2013. It was going to be #78, but there was going to be some delay in "bring up to CPO standards") An 85kwh Tesla Model S requested delivery of November in Blue/Tan WITH Sub-zero Package in Southern California... Because COLD is a relative term.

80 cars IN / 20 spots remain! :scared:
Over a dozen motorcycle cops for the motorcade!

Peterson Museum with an alternative energy display!

Can't 'pencil you in' ... sorry... spots filling up fast!
If you have a Tesla, then you're in.
Both my Roadster ("TESLAsterone") and my Model S ("A Tesla The Hun!") will be there!
Just have to figure out how to drive both simultaneously?

OK... I'm putting my trust that after several false starts on delivery of our Roadster that we'll have it by this Sunday... Just in time to participate next Sunday.

See you there...

TdT on Tesla's EVents Page! Wow!!!

I could lead with the fact that we have 88 IN & 12 spots remain...
Actually, I guess I did lead with that...

But never mind that... Tesla Motors, a $20B company, has seen fit to publish:
Tour de Tesla on Tesla's EVents page!

I was talking with Elie who does these events for a few other high end car companies and he posed these 2 questions:
  1. Do you think we could get Porsche to post a rally on their web site?
  2. Do you think we could get 100 Mercedes S-Class owners to attend a So Cal car rally?
Tesla is more than a car company; its a way of life where PASSION is exuded from the company as well as Model S & Roadster owners!

Will you be 1 of 100???

Congrats. How is Tesla sponsoring the event (are they paying for part of the event)? Just curious as others might want to do similar events.

My car isnt here yet, but I'd love to ride shotgun. I'd be willing to pay someones entry fee for a spot in the right seat. Anyone interested? PM me
I bet if you just show up someone would be happy to give you a ride with or without your offer. Just make sure you take your medication and bathe first.
You will still need a ride there or back from Peterson.

I have a question which may be stupid. Does the 9:30 AM start time mean that's when the continental breakfast starts or the actual drive to the Peterson Auto Museum. If it's the actual drive, then when would we need to be there in time for the breakfast, speeches, etc.?

Ditto... Good question (not clear to me either.)

We're picking up our CPO Roadster #40 tomorrow and am confident to be there... NoMoGas, you can ride with me... (PM me if you want to just meet at Hawthorne). I have to be back later in the day to LAX to pick up my wife (and the primary Roadster driver) from her day trip to the Bay Area.
