Is anyone driving down from the Bay Area that I can catch a ride with? Also, anyone know what the registration fee is for passengers, not drivers?

I just signed up. Hopefully there were still slots available; I think the website isn't updated as much and the last post pertaining to available slots indicated 12 left :)

I'll be driving down either tomorrow (friday) in the afternoon or Saturday morning. You're welcome to come along if you'd like provided you have accommodations in SoCal.

I love Tesla and I love this community! Met some great folks at TESLIVE, looking forward to seeing everyone again!

I just arranged a ride down from the Bay Area with metafor. I can ride with metafor for the TdT as backup plan, but as he is already picking up extra passengers in LA, if someone has space for two more passengers, would be great to catch a ride just for the TdT.

In addition to me, it would be my friend's Dad, a retired engineer that was on the Apollo team that put the first men on the moon. He knows (old) space engineering and loves fast sports cars, so he'd be a great passenger to have. I on other other hand maybe annoying, as I tend to get so excited about Tesla, that I might sound like a Tesla cheerleader on amphetamines.

Go Tesla!

I believe it is a per car fee. I registered on Thursday and plan to go on the drive, should be a great time!
correct; a per car fee only

They don't need the heels while airborne. No worries.

No fair, Brianman gets my jokes!

OK, I won't actually be hanging out your car window screaming and shaking pom poms. I'll actually be the woman with either a walker or a wheel chair and a big Tesla Grin, so stop by and say hi, even if your car is already full.

Ian, Elie and everyone else,

Thank you for a wonderful day! The drive was beautiful, the cops were gracious and amazing. Mostly, the company and new friends I made were worth it on their own. There were so many Teslas there (was it 135?) that we created our own traffic jam getting on the road. At one point, they had to stop traffic on the 5 and the group split into two. I had the fortune of getting waived on by a cop who led me down the highway at 85 MPH, until he promptly left me in the dust. I didn't have the guts to try to keep up. I think he was having a little fun himself. I did not bother keeping up.

I had a fabulous time and can't wait for "Tour de Tesla II."

You had a green light from a cop to follow his escort above 85mph and you let him go? I think you have to turn in your "Performance" membership card now.

It was a lot of fun today. The police escort made traversing all the intersections and keeping us all together a LOT easier. Got to meet some new Tesla owners and had good conversations with them. I saw the helicopter several times but no Victoria Secret models. Thanks Tesla & Al & Ed's!

First Class Event: The Continental Breakfast, the gracious folks from Tesla and Al & Ed's, the police escort, the awesome mods done to the display cars, the shear number of Model S in one location, the drive and the list goes on and on.... However, I was most amazed by the wonderful group of people I met, they just happen to own a model S. So looking forward to the sequel.

The event was awesome, lots of work & planning went into pulling off todays event & we are very appreciative to all that were involved. Keeping 125+cars together must have been a challenge but they pulled it off without a hitch that I saw, I was totally surprised they would stop traffic on the freeway, my wife yelled at me when I crossed over 100mph, I don't think that will ever happen again on a LA freeway while sandwiched between 2 Roadsters.

THANK YOU!!!
