Nicely done. Those look like they poke more than +35 typically does. Spacers?
Thank you! Yeah I did leave my old spacers on there to see how it was but it was a bit too much poke and rubbed a little in the front on full compression. Ended up taking them off just recently, the front is actually quite flush but the rear could use a few mms, so throwing on a 3mm tomorrow to see how it sits!

Crazy question - anyone ever run a 245/45/19 on a 19x9.5? I want to run the Hankook Ion Evo tires on my TE37’s but this is the only size they have and worried it would look terrible LOL. Anyone run a 245/45 size on a 19?

What about the 235/40/19 version? They are actually approved by the manufacturer for 9.5". Any they actually don't look too terribly stretched IMO

I mean that could work too! I just don’t want to go Uber stretched lol. But I don’t mind a stretch! Do you happen to have pictures of that size on a 9.5 rim?

That would be a 27.6” tire, which won’t fit inside the front knuckle.

The 235/40R19 would fit!
235 on a 9.5" is definitely a bit of a stretch.

Mounted my ancient set of BBS LMs 18x8 18x9 +35 offset 235/45 fronts 265/40 rears Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02s

This set of LMs have lived on my Nissan Silvia S15, Toyota Altezza Gita, Lexus IS350, and now the M3LR!
Looks surprisingly good for 18" and no lowering. And I like that the wheels progressed alongside your car journey haha.

I was pleasantly surprised how it turned out! Coilovers might be in the future, but I'll have to see how it feels with decent rubber @ the tail of the dragon/other WNC roads first. I've got a Porsche I use for driving events but the M3 is a surprisingly capable chassis even on the OE godawful Hankooks it had. Hoping its a fun little car with the new rubber for short weekend jaunts without the 10mpg I get in the P car driving it hard.

Yes so much history in these wheels! I miss the S15... should have stored it in Japan until now and imported it. I paid $4k for it used with 30k KM in 2011, they appear to be 40-50k+ imported these days.

Hi all, new member here. Just bought some new 20" wheels for my standard 3 to replace the aeros. I'm looking for some tires. I've been doing a lot of research here and wanted to get some input.

Wheel specs:

Forged One Competition FF10
20x8.5 +35 Front
20x10 +45 Rear

Initially I was going to get 235 35 20 for the fronts and 275 30 20 for the rears. However, the tire brand that seemed affordable and amazing reviews have been the Continental DSW06 plus. The downside is that they don't make that tire size (235 35 and 275 30), which means I would have to order 245 35 for the fronts and 285 30 rears.

Has anyone fit 285 30 in the rears with a +45 offset? I've read of lower offsets fitting.

I'd appreciate any help!

EDIT - they do have the 245 35 20 and 275 30 20.

Is that within spec? My research showed me that I had to do 235 35 F and 275 30 Rear.

The FF10 seems like a really nice wheel for the money!

I don’t think you’ll have any issues with the 285 on a +45 offset. I am running about 2.4-2.5 degrees of rear camber, and at +35 (with performance brakes, so about +39 relative to yours) I have a solid 15mm of inboard clearance.

Additionally, the 2024 M3P also uses 20x10+45 rears, and I am certain they’d have built in more than 5mm of slop in any direction. Therefore, even going +5mm on either side of the tire, and +\-4mm on the offset, I suspect you’ll be just fine with the 285.

The 245/285 combo should give a bit more meat to protect the 20s and improve comfort a bit as well.

New street setup. I got a decent Black Friday deal and finally got around to mounting them.

Fifteen52 Tarmac 18x8.5 +30 with Kuhmo Solus 235/50R18.

Lowered to about 360mm hub to fender.

IMO the front looks too low/tucked even tho it's sort of an illusion. The larger diameter tire fills the wheel well, but the car has more ground clearance.

TBD if white is too annoying to maintain, but the simple design should be quick to wipe off.
