Woman Killed After Tesla Model S Blows Through South Florida Stop Sign

Just saw this and thought...Either its AP or a Medical condition. The Road that the Tesla was traveling came to a "T" at the stop sign. The MS driver, had he stopped for the stop sign, could have turned left, or right. The Tahoe was parked in from of the Yellow directional sign. Once the MS passed thru the intersection, it hit the Tahoe, which spun around and struck both pedestrians standing outside the Tahoe. The young woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Driver and the other pedestrian are in serious condition.

If this was an AP incident, then the legal landscape is about chnage dramatically

The roads in the Keys are not what current AP is setup for. The roads there are more like two lane country roads in many areas including the one in the pictures. As Tesla has said many times over.

AP doesn't claim to stop at stop signs. This has nothing to do with Tesla or AP. The driver of the car had an accident that killed someone.

Not that it makes a tragedy any better, but the Tahoe was parked in front of the Yellow reflective signs to indicate the road ended. Obviously the driver missed the reflective stop sign and the 6 foot tall white letters on road saying STOP, but may have stopped if they saw the road ended. I would assume auto pilot was not on, as it is not really a question of autopilot missing the stop sign, but the solid wall of Tahoe in front of the car.

If you read the original article from the Miami Herald, you can not determine which road the Tesla driver was on, nor the direction he was going when he hit the parked Tahoe.
