Any out of state MA-store purchases?

I ordered SR+ last night and got a text for delivery appointment on Tuesday in Dedham - even though I selected home delivery - twice, the configurator kept forcing Dedham as the selection. Called the Tesla sales line to adjust it - was told it would be taken care of, and...nothing. Reservation still shows as Dedham pickup. I'll have to call locally tomorrow and see if there's anything they can do - hoping it won't be waiting for a new VIN.

Did you try contacting a local sales rep to see MR inventory?

They lied to you or were misinformed themselves. That is not how sales tax collection works.

I'm really not sure why you stubbornly insist on believing incorrect information given to you by Tesla store employees (who have been shown to have misspoken or outright lied many times in the past) over people who have personally done these CT/MA cross border purchases many times in the past. I even quoted and sited the CT DMV, which proves the Tesla employee wrong.

But you can believe whatever you want. I'm done with this silliness.

Also you don’t need to be a lawyer to read the tax laws. They are public.
