Any Southern California VIN assignments/deliveries for folks who configured after 6/27??

Well, I was supposed to pick up my LR-Rwd, pearly white at 5:30pm, when a Tesla rep called me at 5:10pm informing me that upon inspection, it appears that the rear bumper has a paint chip during delivery. They said that it will have to go off to the body shop on Monday, and that my delivery will most likely be next weekend. I am not that surprised by the news (actually I’m more surprised my wife didn’t care that it got pushed back one week after planning the entire day around it). In fact, I’d rather they find the issue not I, and that they make sure ALL other known issues get addressed as well. I will make sure to point that out to them, it would make me feel more at ease.

I got that confirmation page a couple of days ago and I changed the registration details on it (took my wife off registration) and then it gave me a message that a specialist will be contacting me within 48 hrs...and today I got the email with the VIN and delivery date. No call though yet. And my Tesla account page still says that the specialist will reach out to answer my questions.. it does show a the VIN now though.

I ordered 6/30, Pearl White LR-RWD. It has to go to the shop on Monday, so I guess maybe sometime in the middle of the week or weekend again. It actually works out, as I have to go to a work trip on Monday and Tuesday. Plus, I will have them double-check everything.

I see very nice! I ordered the same exact one like yours, just a day after! Excited for you! What's your VIN?
 
I took deliver yesterday in Costa Mesa. Overall it was smooth given how busy they were. I came 45 mins late and still only waited no more than 30 mins to get the car.

After 5mins with paperwork and quick tutorial, the representatives said I can park the car outside to inspect the car. It was a hot day and with no shade at the Costa Mesa delivery center, it made it difficult for me to do a thorough inspection. Found a small paint and the glove box wouldn't open. They brought the car to the back and fixed those issues within 30 mins. I found another paint issue afterwards, but by then I was so sweaty and hot parked right under the afternoon sun, I didn't bring it up to the reps. After getting home, I noticed the rear door seals didn't look all flush. Both issues I feel are fairly minor, just debating now if I should contact Tesla about it. Sitting under hot sun during inspect sort of made me wish this car has ventilated seats!

Overall, it's a fine car so far :)
