Anybody have a Front Lip spoiler?

The main reason for the lip being short is they forgot to account for the spacing of the double stick tap. I tested fitted mine without tape and it looked good. As soon as I added the tape, I came up short on both sides. I was debating on doing a black wrap but ended up doing plastidip after I installed it.

Makes sense.

Gotcha. I was set on getting the Vorsteiner when i first saw it, but think its too aggressive if you don’t get the sides as well. The RPM style ones aren’t aggressive enough. The IKON so far is the best one that are in-between...but haven’t seen or read any reviews on installation and fitment.

I agree that the Vorsteiner is the best looking if you get the whole package.

if I had to pick a front lip spoiler only I'd get the IKON.

WIth these front spoilers being installed using 3M adhesive tape, how difficult is it to remove them? I'm looking at this option from IKON (Fits 17-19 Tesla Model 3 IKON Style Front Bumper Lip Matte Black - PP) and it is a matte black, unpainted plastic. I like the idea of the matte black, but I'm not sure how well it will age. For $135 I think it's worth a shot, but don't want to do permanent damage to the paint on the bumper if I decide to remove it.

Here's my install and critique.
Look - 5/5, just what I was looking for.
Ease of install - 4/5, no instructions.
Fit - 2/5, end came up short on the ends. Used leftover black vinal to cover the white edge that showed through. Considering additional vinal below the lip.
Finish - 5/5, love the gloss finish as it matches the rear spoiller.
Overall happiness - 4/5

It's a pain to remove for sure. I haven't removed one personally, but from what others have told me and just my experience with removing adhesive-base mods...it's not fun.

Hey CactusOne, that looks on point! Nice job. A few questions if you don't mind:

- Is your front spoiler the Ikon style one?
- Is it real carbon fiber?
- May I ask how much it cost with shipping and where you found it on Wish? I can't seem to find it using their crappy search function.
- Can you post some profile pics so we can see how the spoiler looks and lines up with the rest of the Model 3 body lines?
- What springs are you lowered on and is there and rubbing with the lip spoiler installed now?

I just installed the IKON polypropylene front lip on my 2020. Fitment is very good, so good that I think it would hold without any 3M tape or mechanical screws.
