Anyone else notice their X wake up, unfold mirrors then sleep again?

I have a question about this action at a distance fob issue some are reporting. If the fob is away from the car but close enough that it still tries to communicate with it, shouldn't the car be unlocked too? So a quick test would be to have the fob where you think it interferes and then go to the car without the fob and test the driver's door? If it's open then clearly the fob is talking to the car, but if not then can we assume the fob is not in contact with the car?
 
Buy one of those shielding pouches to prevent it from communicating
It's not necessarily the fob. Stray RF can cause anomalies like this. Frequencies from police radar, commercial & amateur radio transmitters, etc all are known culprits. If you read the back of your TV or radio or many other electronics - they say something like, "this thing must NOT interfere with other devices, and must accept interference on said devices.
