I ordered in December and per my VIN will be gettting a US/Fermont 2024 model in FebHello all. Based on my reading and reports seem like there is oversupply of tesla model y in the inventory in usa. Do you think tesla will start delivering american made tesla to Canada instead of china made model y during 1st quater of 2024?
I ordered in December and per my VIN will be gettting a US/Fermont 2024 model in Feb. I am surprised as well since Canada was getting from China only so far
Last time when they switched from US to China, they asked everyone on order to reconfigure and confirm. I doubt that they will not do that path this time. The problem is the MIC Y and Fremont Y are using different battery.I ordered in December and per my VIN will be gettting a US/Fermont 2024 model in Feb
Yeah, If it is AWD LR, @Shaam will probably see a range increase, and if it is RWD, probably the same range.Last time when they switched from US to China, they asked everyone on order to reconfigure and confirm. Ops I may over think for this, are you order SR RWD Y? These are using same battery I think.
It’s AWD LR and they did not ask me to change or acknowledge anything.Yeah, If it is AWD LR, @Shaam will probably see a range increase, and if it is RWD, probably the same range.
Can you confirm your seat config? It’s AWD LR and they did not ask me to change or acknowledge anything.
With the recent announcement around range reduction for US built vehicles, there is not disparity in range, that might be a reason I guess!
From what I have read:Is US built preferred to China?
HW3 performs better with FSD than HW4. When they make HW4 in parallel with HW3, HW5 will be there. From what I have read:
China: Impeccable build quality, but still HW3
US: Built quality may be good or poor (your luck) but they are HW4
Speaking for myself, I would prefer HW4 (better resale value even if there is no advantage over HW3 if you do not purchase FSD)
Same for me. I ordered in January and VIN said US/Fermont in February in Canada. Do you think model Y RWD will have the LFP battery?I ordered in December and per my VIN will be gettting a US/Fermont 2024 model in Feb
What as your order configuration?Same for me. I ordered in January and VIN said US/Fermont in February in Canada. Do you think model Y RWD will have the LFP battery?
Model Y RWD Black with the 20" inches Rims. I'm wondering if I should keep the 20" rims and put winter tires on them or buy a set of 19" wheels and tires for the winterWhat as your order configuration?
I think the RWD from Fremont is non LFP in the US, however the Canadian site still lists the weight of the vehicle as 1909kg vs 1884kg on the US site, or maybe they just didn't update the site? Some people say you can tell from the digits on the VIN, but don't know how accurate it is. When is ur EDD?Same for me. I ordered in January and VIN said US/Fermont in February in Canada. Do you think model Y RWD will have the LFP battery?
Mine is E but the reps at the local Tesla said it was LFP. What about yours ?When I asked one of the reps about LFP after my demo drive, he was looking at me as though i was speaking binary to him lol. Is the 7th digit of your VIN 'F' or 'E'?
Trust the VIN.Mine is E but the reps at the local Tesla said it was LFP. What about yours ?
