Are the Hankook tyres magic?

I have driven roughly 21000 miles since I bought my M3 LR used. The tyres started off with around 5.5mm of tyre wear and now, just before I get an MOT, they are only at ~3.5mm.

Maybe I was lied too when I was told EVs chew through tyres. Don't get me wrong, almost any traffic light I am accelerating away quickly, yet somehow they seem to be wearing at an almost leisurely rate.

same, I think I'll stick to hankook tyres. My car is at 27k miles and tyres like new...... !!!

Are the Hankook's on 19"? Mine came with Michelin on the 18" Aero wheels.

Yes. The Pilot Sport tyres fitted on the 18" LR models are a higher performance tyre and don't last as long.

Mine lasted 47k miles on my LR with rotating them halfway.

I changed the Pilot sport rears on my M3LR at 13k.
Totally worth it

M3 with 19" wheels ship with Hankook Ventus S1 Evo3 summer tyres (T0 OEM variant) in the UK.

Michelin PS4s have lasted 42k miles on our LR
