While parked, not driving. Easter eggs are part of the fun for the producer and consumer of a product. And, sometimes, act as a somewhat therapeutic tool for devs. It's not slowing done "real" features like EAP at all and, due to the psychological benefits, might actually accelerate the development of those features. So Tesla wants more reasons for people to get distracted while driving? And why the hell is he not focus on releasing EAP which was suppose to be released over a year ago and instead he is doing stupid Easter eggs and ATARI games...
MCU1 has 1GB, MCU2 has 32GB.I wonder if anyone has discovered how much mass storage space is available in these cars. With how cheap SSDs are now, I hope it is significant and not just barely enough to get by.

And 18.26 firmware is just north of 900MB. They are running out of room.
So..ive been thinking about this. Is the steering wheel capable via software to disengage from turning the wheels? So either with the car in park, you can turn the wheel for the video game and the wheels stay stationary, OR. when parked and turning the wheel for the video game, the actual wheels of your car turn and you mark up your driveway..garage..wear down the rubber... ?
No the steering wheel is mechanically connected through the steering rack to the wheels.I think it's all software; you can already adjust the responsiveness of the steering (comfort, sport, etc.) so software would surely be able to disengage the connection entirely. Mind you, this is clearly something they want to have perfected 100%!

How the heck does that work? Last I checked the steering wheel was connect to this pesky steering rack. Do you really want to be beating on that hardware while playing Pole Position?
Am I the only one freaking out about what this means for fingerprints on the MCU? My god, think of the fingerprints!
That's what I suggested to Elon the first time he gave a hint about games in the car. Would be much easier!USB gamepad?
