Yes ..Thinking but in the end its just lane changing and a little smart summons which is cool but $5k is a lot of supercharging mulla. $3k to shave off .8 sec of what is an already fast car is something to weigh up as well. Youd be pretty peeved if it was added to an update later down the track.
What is the $3k option to get the speed boost?I don't see that anywhere...

The link I supplied before didn’t work, so lets try that again…..

The basis of his argument is that the features are at the same capability, to justify the cost of the upgrade solely by comparing it to the cost that other OEM charged fails to consider the capability that you're paying for. My M3 has the worst distance control cruise control of any car that I've driven, and the standard autopilot, well you have to try it over a period of time to decide whether you trust it and it what conditions. These two features are the only area where my car feels behind the legacy automakers.

I got that same message and for an instance i thought it was a vin allocation message ..
Same here. I work for Pepper but only found out about this today when I got the text. Evie networks I have known about for a while but was obviously not able to say anything until it was made public. I am going to enjoy not paying any petrol or electricity for a while.

I have just spent the best part of 2 yrs getting my lane guidance fixed , the VW system hates low battery voltage, hopefully the Tesla cameras are better

I cannot fault the (out of town) lane keeping on my LR after 10months. Also find TACC absolutely excellent and use it almost everywhere, including in town. I drove a supposedly top of the line Kia for a month last year and found the equivalent functions really bad. The lanekeeping, in particular, was totally untrustworthy as far as I was concerned.

However, the visual sign recognition on the Tesla is (so far) poor and apparently not even enabled on most highways and freeways (although this only applies to Australia). Though I have had it appear to work occasionally.

I'm tempted to buy it too but first want to experience the car in its raw form for a while. Once I get used to it and the car becomes "ahh it's just my car" rather than, "holy sh*t I've got a Tesla", I'll then purchase it as it will feel (I hope) like something new again. I'm treating it like the first ever car I purchased on Gran Turismo in 1998 🤣
Same here except for the floor mats and wall charger. Want to keep those floors clean.

Let's see, I grabbed the wall charger, floor mats, boot and frunk mats (including protectors for the backs of the rear seats), some stick-on wide angle mirrors (decent ones) because the door mirrors are too small, a couple of plastic grilles to stop stuff falling into the heater vents under the front seats, a 12v compressor, pucks for jacking the car up, and shopping hooks for the frunk and boot. And possibly a couple of other things I've forgotten.

AliExpress is a very dangerous website!

this guys take on it is interesting. Is Tesla FSD worth $10,100 in Australia? Value for money?
In my 4 years model s experience, no.

green light requires confirmation to continue

cruise phantombrakes at the sniff of a parked car ( and yes I know it’s only meant for highway Use) - which doubles the poor value argument in au.
no eta for au for fsd

I specialise in automotive safety, Teslas releases for auto steer in au are far from industry standard ( iso 26262)

not to mention if you buy it now you’ll be slugged lct and stamp duty on top.

I have a question I'm wondering if someone can help me out with.

For context, I've been waiting for my Tesla since December 2021. I only recently got notified that my vehicle will be ready for delivery in August.

I applied for pepper finance back in January and was approved at 3% interest rate. Due to multiple delays, my Tesla rep told me they would honor the 3% interest rate.

However, I found out today that Pepper Money is no longer a Tesla partner, and my Tesla rep is saying they may no longer be able to offer me 3% interest rate.

Is anyone else in a similar boat? Is it unlikely that pepper will honor the agreed monthly payments and interest rate that we were offered when we applied back in January? Is there anything I can do or am I going to have to finance at the new interest rates of 6%??

I'm just really annoyed cause the 3% interest rate played a big role in deciding to order a Tesla on finance, and now feel like I'm screwed due to delays on Tesla's end.

What’s the deal on “keeping the floors clean” in a Tesla? Is everyone saying that in all their previous ICE cars they replaced carpet mats with rubber flooring??? I’ve always just had carpet mats. Vacuumed them every two or so weeks. No problems. Kept my car floors clean. But everyone on Tesla sites seems to indicate they want to replace the carpet with what looks like bulky, somewhat ill-fitting rubber mats. Why? The frunk and boot I sort of get. But why rubberise the interior floors?

None of the Tesla finance companies keep the rate after 180 days. I ordered my LR in Dec and was approved at 2.99% with Macquarie. My car is coming in August too and I resigned at 4.99% as the 180- days expired in late June.
