nothing, but my wife arrived back today so we are processing the revised invoice with NL and other formalities. Also shopping around for accessories....Has anyone from Melbourne or Adelaide got their "your vehicle has arrived in australia" notification yet? I haven't got one but my car is on RAV
Not likely. They get shipped with a generic firmware and you should get the updates in due course.Booked my pickup for next week!
Is it likely these cars will have the new firmware recently released?
Have you got yours yet, as in the update s/wNot likely. They get shipped with a generic firmware and you should get the updates in due course.

I just paid for my first month today. As I understand it, you pay for it yourself until such time as you build up sufficient funds in your NL lease account. At which point you can start submitting reimbursement claims. How does car insurance payment work with NL. I assume it has to be paid up front, does it get paid monthly or do they pay it up front for 12 months?
Hmmm, but it should be pre tax.will check with NLA tomorrowI just paid for my first month today. As I understand it, you pay for it yourself until such time as you build up sufficient funds in your NL lease account. At which point you can start submitting reimbursement claims.
You pay upfront to the insurance. As your employer deducts your lease payments and pay the lease company, the funds will accumulate in different budget accounts(such as finance, rego, tyres, insurance etc.). Once enough funds accumulate in your insurance budget account, they will reimburse you for the said insurance premium. How does car insurance payment work with NL. Sounds like it depends on your NL.How does car insurance payment work with NL. I assume it has to be paid up front, does it get paid monthly or do they pay it up front for 12 months?
It ends up being pre-tax because you eventually get reimbursed out of the account that comes out pre-tax.Hmmm, but it should be pre tax.will check with NLA tomorrow
I didn’t want to go with the insurance options the NL company offered so I decided arrange my own. I pay monthly and they reimburse me monthly but it lags behind. Same goes for rego.Sounds like it depends on your NL.
I didn’t pay anything up front, you just agree to the insurance and the NL works out how to pay it. How they do it is up to them.
Set and forget
I’ve never heard of paying it upfront, and I’ve leased heaps of cars
Always a option, but doing it that way does make the insurance 25~% more given it's from post tax money.I didn’t want to go with the insurance options the NL company offered so I decided arrange my own. I pay monthly and they reimburse me monthly but it lags behind. Same goes for rego.
I actually prefer this because I get points when I pay with my card
