What’s happening to the Morning Crystal? what’s up with the delay?

Is there anyone who did get the “your car is in Australia” SMS whose EDD has gotten later? Did the people whose cars got left on the MC (beggars belief) not get the sms?

It’s fluctuating due to tides/weather, but currently reads “
Next port (ETA): BRISBANE, AU
(Wed, January 24, 2024 @ 11:20 PM UTC)” which is 9:20am QLD / 10:20am NSW/VIC time on Thursday 25 January I believe.

Has been pretty consistent for past 6 hours or so.

Anyone else getting a bit nervous about how close Paganella is to the cyclone?

The question I believe is not what is happening to MC but rather the question of what happens after unloading.
Based on the port schedule, it sounds like MC will Berth on evening Friday 26Jan but nothing will happen until Monday 29Jan
Beyond that who knows...

According to Vic ports website they are due to depart on the night of Jan 27. Do they have operations on Saturdays?

You get to be one of us whose car apparently didn’t get unloaded everyone else booked their delivery.

I just checked my VIN on RAV - it is showing up. What does that mean?

Just saw that some SYD cars were accidentally left on the MC - What an absolute joke! I hope Tesla are better at making cars than transporting them.

I placed order for MYLR Blue (Order date: 14-Dec) in Victoria and got VIN today assigned for year 24 built car. However, I am not able to find the carrier name from the Tesla app or VIN. Any suggestion..

Got an email for my MYLR order 12-12 today, it’s in the Lapis Arrow

I see. Well I’m willing to wait a few more days as long as they don’t “accidentally” leave our cars on the ship before it departs.

I called and spoke to a rep at Tesla Chatswood office. He said he wasn't aware of any SYD cars being left on the MC post Port Kembla unload. I still have EDD Feb 1 - 22. His advice was to sit tight and wait for SMS to book delivery date.

No report, someone posted earlier in thread. Sorry - I should not have assumed what was posted was true!

It seems to be true, just not widespread. It's a handful of people. I wouldn't assume you've been caught up in the problem unless Tesla have told you themselves.

Not correct.

I'm a Melbourne delivery on MC and the car was entered in RAV 18/1.
My Glovis car was entered in RAV 7/11 and we all know what happened there.
