Dont be insulted but, yes, a 6 year old on Christmas Eve comes to mind.Both. I tried changing configuration after a RWD VIN was assigned but couldn't due to them saying I'd lose my deposit. When my RWD delivery fell through (8/8), I used the opportunity to refuse delivery and ask to upgrade to a Performance where they were happy to do the upgrade for me without any fees....
The VIN could show up on the website before the call. So yes, they will call, but its kinda like watching the delivery truck coming down the street. You know they're going to ring the bell, but you want to know exactly when you can expect it . Can you tell I'm excited?

So... depends on what you mean by access. When I use that link it redirects me to the "Manage" page. (Btw, the "Prepare for Delivery" bullet has been checked since they unveiled this new design. Not sure if that matters.)

Best advise I can give, buy the car you really want. If you want an S, buy a $100,000 car. If you want a M3, buy a $60,000 car.have any of you ever tried swapping your 3 to an s or x to get quicker delivery? In about 2 weeks I will be without a vehicle.
Ordered/configured on 13AUG in Nashville (no reservation), showing October to December for estimated delivery. X and S both show late September for delivery.

I’ll high five you at the delivery center!Same here. I haven't had an edit button for awhile now. When I try to access that link with my RN number it just sends me to the manage page. I have order and prepare for delivery checked on the "next steps" list. Maybe our cars are on the same truck to MD?

Ugh! I have the exact configuration as yours and made the same edits you did on the same days, except I reserved mine a year before yours on 4/3/16. I still haven’t heard anything yet. I’m in Utah tho, maybe that was the deal breaker

Oh my! That is quick turnaround. Are you a previous owner? I'm in Phoenix too with earlier dates. Wonder if the white interior pushed your order along.

I've been watching for AZ orders and got excited last week to start seeing a few. Unfortunately, no movement on mine yet. I called 2 weeks ago and they said everything looked good but didn't have any additional info to share other than I should get a call about 4 weeks before delivery. Here I sit ...patiently waiting my turn (or at least that is what I've been telling myself)

There are a bunch of new 3's at the SLC store. They are running out of places to park them now. I was down there Sunday looking. Only a couple had white interior. Thats what you ordered right ?Update: I just saw that sometime today my order page updated with the yellow dots for financing and trade in. And the edit button is gone. I haven’t heard from tesla yet but will call in the morning to see if I have a VIN then straight to the bank and credit union to get financing. I’m so excited and can’t believe it’s getting close!!!
