On a model 3 I believe the 8th character should be a "B" for AWD
Update: After I posted here...and called to check (they said it was all looking fine and it would be soon) I received an email on Oct 17th with a scheduled delivery date of Nov 16th. The financing option appeared and I was able to get that taken care of. Will see how it goes!

No, not old, though check the date on driver’s door jamb sticker. Two weeks ago I saw a 3 ready for delivery in Dedham, MA. 66xxx with Monroney on the dashboard showing 09/18 manufacture date. Two cars away, also for delivery, serial number 117xxx.
What happens to your account when you cancel your order ?
I had to cancel mine just couldn’t stomach the 64k for AWD LR and some family issues came up with long term care costs. I may want to order a less expensive RWD MR do I just re order?
My original order that I cancelled this morning still has not been updated.but I went ahead with the new order because I got the email from the rep to put my info and confirm my request to cancel. The check for the deposit could take 4-6 weeks. So it's up to you.

Picked up the car finally today at the new Tampa Delivery center on Florida ave. Car had one small gash in the inside front door kickplate that my DS pointed out to me, otherwise the car is perfect. Even had V9 already installed. I had asked them to charge it for me as I had a 2 hour drive home and they had it ready at 94% soc. 2 and a 1/2 years waiting....worth every minute.
Took delivery today in Springfield NJ. Went smoothly but took way longer than I had anticipated. Lots of waiting around. I was there from 12:30-3pm. All good though. Car is in great shape no obvious issues with paint or panels.
The car is absolutely incredible to drive! That’s all I can really say. Feels like it’s on rails and the instant torque is awesome. Anyone still waiting for delivery is in for a real treat.
V9 update was already available upon delivery so it’s installing right now.

Had to cancel my original order from early July 18 due to needing to rid myself of my current leased vehicle. The Oct 15 deadline to order pushed me to re-engage, in order to take advantage of the $7500 rebate before yearend. I just got my confirmation and order number. Delivery date: late November to mid December. Ordered wall charger 2 days ago, it is inbound. Called electrician to set up install. Everything is falling into place. Just wish I could un-ass my leased vehicle without having to endure the rather sizeable penalty!

I doubt that our RSVPs make any difference now... I was told that by two people while I bitched how this delayed my delivery.

I may have missed a post (I assume there are probably hundreds asking this), but if I ordered my dual motor 7 days before the $1k price decrease, will that be reflected on my paperwork once that appears in my Tesla account? Called the 1-800 number and they couldn't answer that confidently.

Well, now I don't know where in the hell my car is. I called Devon and they say it's still in Jersey, waiting to get loaded on a truck. Then I call the delivery hotline and they tell me it left Norfolk, VA and on it's way to Devon. Then they call Devon to get on the same page and apparently there is a "logistics error" and they don't know where it is. Told me that they should figure it out in 7 - 10 days.

Well, the electrician came as scheduled to install my 100A sub panel and the charging station, and the VIN showed up on the Tesla page! Better yet, it's the same VIN (117xxx) that I was given by the Tesla Delivery Team a couple of weeks ago. Fingers crossed until next week!

Received a response this afternoon from my IDA. "Your final MVPA should reflect the new pricing. If it does not, you will be refunded the price difference."
Received a response this morning from the Customer Experience Specialist at the local Tesla showroom. "I believe all orders that have not been delivered will be adjusted down to the price displayed on the website".
I have it in writing, I am moving forward with my delivery on 11/1. It can't come soon enough...
Please let us know your delivery experience once you get it, I'm hoping to get mine sometime next month in Columbus too...

Reconfigured to blue with white and black intererior AWD 19”s and passed on AP for now to keep the price down
New order reflects lower cost and lower white interior price of $1,000
Really happy to get white and black interior .
Hoping this gets going again and I can take delivery before the end of the year.
Chose Tesla finance hope that doesn’t slow down the process.
