first post. I’m annoyed. I ordered 3/2019 (within a day or two of announcement with $2500 deposit)

06/19/20 - VIN 177xx Assigned; Received text to schedule delivery, but Tesla already chose 06/21 (Sunday) for me.
06/21/20 - Original Delivery Date assigned by Tesla
06/23/20 - Rescheduled Delivery Date as requested by customer
After receiving the text about 7 day build timeframe last Sunday, I checked hourly for the VIN so I could start financing/insurance. Chatted with Tesla on Tuesday to inquire about VIN. Told that they won’t know it until the car is built. Wednesday, receive email from “Delivery Support Specialist, Inside Delivery” that production just resumed after shutdown and that I’ll be notified when I’m notified. VIN posted Friday. Received text to schedule delivery Friday. Clicked the link but they had already scheduled pickup for Sunday. Receiving a VIN on Friday and arranging financing and insurance before Sunday?!!! Contacted insurance rep on Friday with VIN but because the Model Y is so new, the system can’t generate a quote and it will have to be manually done by the carrier, most likely, on Monday. Called the local delivery center early Friday morning to reschedule. Rep promised callback in a few minutes. No callback. I call again (Saturday AM) and am told if I don’t take delivery by Tuesday that I’ll have to wait until at least September for a new match. Scheduled pickup for noon Tuesday hoping insurance is finished by then. Had him change payment from 3rd-party financing to Tesla Financing. It looks like I’m getting 2.49% for 72 months through US Bank which is about what I expected from a credit union. Just downloaded a couple delivery checklists and enlisted a 2nd set of eyes to go do the inspection on Tuesday. I hope this car has relatively few issues and that I end up loving the car, but so far, I really dislike dealing with Tesla.

It's HAPPENING! After weeks of my script running to check for my VIN every 10minutes and after over 2,000 tries it's up!

They're in California, so this is not surprising to me. They are able to for sure get the care there before end of the quarter.

That’s almost my config, but I did not order FSD (though I consider it every day). I hope your delivery goes well and that fit and finish is good. Let us know how things go. Congrats!
Yeah if it makes you feel better I'm the same config but 20" wheels over in New Orleans and no new info for me yet. Ordered 02/14/20. Awaiting VIN supposedly in the next two weeks.

Got a text this AM, logged on, and saw that I was assigned a VIN today (176xx). MSM/White/FSD/19".
I played around with the Tesla insurance quote and it looks reasonable so I'll probably sign-up.
Delivery was set to noon ?Jun 22/tomorrow?, but I'll need to delay for a few days if that's accurate. I didn't see an email or missed call from a delivery advisor, but it's Sunday so I think they'll reach out to me on Monday.

Good luck to you. That's my exact config and the same location I hope to be at (someday).
I just picked up my MY white on white, 20”, FSD. I had very few issues. The only real issue that I have is the charger port sticks out a little bit. Every other MY that was there had the exact same thing so hopefully there will be a fix for it soon. I did have a black smear on the white seats. I mentioned it to one of the delivery guys and he cleaned it right up. The paint is almost flawless. Only found one issue which is inside the drivers door so you can’t even see it when the doors are closed. I do have a slight misalignment of the back seats but that appears to be with all MYs at this point. Overall I’m very happy with the car and the quality.
Things are moving along now.
Today received email with URL for scheduling day and time (Wed-Fri only).
Delivery scheduled for Wednesday 24th. Fingers crossed, checklist at the ready. Must get from Tucson to Phoenix.
How soon did you get a delivery date after the VIN/MVPA showed up in your account? Picking up in Fremont?
I refused my delivery today of AWD white/white (146XX). The paint on the drivers side didn't match. All the other issues I've read about looked to be taken care of. Only other major exterior issue we saw was the hatch was wobbly and misaligned. We never made it to looking inside much, but there were a lot of dirty prints all over the white interior and headliner.
