Battery swap/upgrade - any remote options available?

Hello,
Have seen several DIY success stories about pack replacement or upgrade and was wondering if I should attempt such myself or not.
Why not going to one of the resellers here you might ask. Simple…none are in Canada and upgrade prices to a better 90/100 pack are high even with a pretty healthy “core”.
Lately have found more local or close to local salvage yards that are selling 100 packs for very good prices. With selling after my 85 pack would be in for less than 5k CAD. Some can help installing the pack, but the SW side is blurry.

Is anyone aware of someone offering remote activation for a swapped pack or if I should just subscribe for Toolbox to do it? My car has the MCU2 that I’ve seen is causing some extra headaches (I know all pros and cons and opinions on buying a salvage pack and expecting to work, but would try this before selling the car to upgrade for 30k).

@JeffreyHowell just successfully swapped failed pack with salvage yard pack.
