Big Brake front rotors for Model 3/Y retrofit using CTS-V calipers

Since we already fulfilled the requirements needed to get the rotors manufactured, I can not add anyone else to this current order as they are already in production.

With that said, I’d be more than happy to facilitate another group buy (round 2) if we get a total of 5 committed buyers.

Got a pic with the pad in? Hopefully it’s only a few mm from the hat? Still 50/50 on this since I have the 365mm one already but I like bling though.

@TwoK4drSi - Pads haven't arrived yet, but I will be using Girodisc street pads. There's a clearance of 3mm from the edge of the pad to the hat. I'll snap a pic once they arrive.

Pads go pretty close to the hat, had to make sure it didn’t rub after first installing.

CTS-V stock pads run pretty close too. As long as they clear it will be no issue.

I’ve read through these posts and I’m not sure if Girodisc requires 5 more buyers or if they do not because they’ve proven the design with the pioneers here?

I am waiting on my M3P and starting to gather parts for occasional track use, a bigger brake kit is one of the things on my list.

I am waiting on my M3P and starting to gather parts for occasional track use, a bigger brake kit is one of the things on my list.

They still require 5 for each run, as they don't stock these at the moment. It's more cost effective for them to make these in batches of 5 buyers, as stocking them may end up with inventory costs and issues.

BTW, I'm damned happy I went this route.

DIY Big Brake Kit with Brembo 6 piston Calipers

I didn't take a photo, but my MPP SS Brake lines are too short to mount the tab to the knuckle. So, I just zip tied it into itself to reduce the slack from catching a rotating part. To be a perfect fit, how long would the SS lines need to be?
