Brand new (5 days) model 3 has odd looking white liquid all over front left rim.

I tried to add pic but I can’t figure out how to.

It’s like a white liquid and it rubs off the rim with some hard rubbing. First day I got it I noticed a tiny bit but didn’t think much of it. Now on day 5 it’s raining here and now it’s all over the front driver side rim/hub cap. It’s very odd. Anyone ever have this issue? No idea what it is

Not sure if this is the same as yours but I believe this was from wheel cleaner not removed from my rim. It looked worse when the rim was wet. I used polish for silverware to remove it, took a few times but I did eventually get it completely off.

Haha. I was happy when I got it last week. But not that happy. I hope it’s just a quick fix thing. I hate that I have to bring it in for service 6 days after getting it.

Wash your car and see if it returns. Looks like it’s some type of residue from perhaps detailing pre delivery.

If I were you, I would at the very minimum take it to a service center just to have them record the issue. Maybe it's nothing but it always better to have proof of the issue.

Pop that wheel cover off and have a look around, if there's a source maybe you can find it.

Could be tire mounting lubricant. They might have had to replace one of your tires before delivery and used a bit much.

I immediately worried about it could be lubricant and may affect the breaking performance. But then I think it is fine as EV mainly uses Regen breaking.
But I would take the rim cover off and find the source.

I would still worry about that if it were indeed some lubricant if it were leaking it from somewhere. If it is just a one time thing it's easy enough to wipe it down.

Leaking from where?

The coolant is blue. The wheel bearings are sealed. The window washer fluid is also blue.

I had the same looking stuff on mine that was picked up Monday. Looked like grease from mounting the tire.
