I think with a 1.5x 60' and full battery charge it would be close. Let's see how close people get. I drag race a vette and wifey just got her p100d. Trying not to get embarrassed here. Lol

    Highly doubt it. I'd say low 11's with a 1.6 60'. It's a heavy car.

I am unsure how relevant it is, but starting from a standstill one would cover 1/4 mile in 10 seconds with a constant acceleration of 0.82g.

HA! My bad. I just parse all new posts in one list. Don't often notice if they are X or S related.

A stock XP100DL might get close to 11 flat but I doubt if it would get below 11. I ran last weekend with my X90D (NO L) and my best time was 12.1 @ 114mph. Although this was my first time racing the X and I was fumbling with Launch Mode a bit I think the best I could do would be around 11.8 or 11.9. I don't think the P100D would be a full second faster, although it is possible. Put race tires on it and all bets are off - I think it would be possible with the right tires.

I doubt drag radials would help all that much. Tesla has programmed a defined torque curve for launch. The curve is what allows it to simply fly off the line without the traction control kicking in and cutting power.

That is so wicked fast, just can't believe the times these are running. Looks like so much fun!

It's an absolute blast! Although my trap speed was 114 I stayed on it until 125 when the end of the track was coming at me. It was solid as a rock and I would have no concerns about taking it to 155 on the right road.

Did you make sure you pre-heated the batteries first? It can take some time (eg 20-30 minutes) to reach proper temperature. Pre-heating will maximize performance.

Anyone have the 1/4 mile time on the X90D (non-P)?

Yes, I turned on the "max battery power" as I arrived at the track and it was "ready" before my first run.

I encountered a Model X P100D the other day going down Newport Coast Dr.

I drive a 2016 BMW M4 that isn't stock, that in full street trim i've ran a [email protected] where I messed up a shift, followed by my friend doing a [email protected] pass, easily a 11.40-11.55 car.

When you can beat 600cc bikes, and keep up with 750cc, the last thing you EVER expect is for a SUV to put up any competition what so ever..

Let's just say....My jaw dropped, I got SPANKED. I wouldn't doubt that a high 10 sec/11 flat pass is out of the realm of possibility....

I highly doubt it can run 10s
Difference between P90d and P100d is about 0.3 sec on MS
Even if same logic applied on the heavier MX, it could only do 11.3 at best
