This is a bit blurry but it shows the location. There is one smaller conduit close to me, perhaps for a street sign? The other four are on the other side of the driveway.

I have no knowledge of electrical matters, but from my lay viewpoint I think Superchargers need more heavy duty wiring and a place for the transformers/chargers. That looks like wiring for 80 amps HPWC's to me.

I found one diagram on the intertubes that showed a SpC utilizing 3" conduit but I'm not sure if that was for a portable unit or not. A 2" conduit can hold enough guage of wire to handle several 400A conductors, but it's entirely possible they will just be HPWCs
If I see anyone working there on my way home from work sometime, I'll see if anyone knows.

Supposed to be functional 2-3 week of May. When they actually open for business is another story. I'm waiting for a service appointment but they said the shop is opening soon and they shut down Ranger service until they open the service centre.

Sorry folks, no SuperCharger at the Calgary Service Center. They finished the rough-in wiring for what I assume will be HPWCs and they have a 600V/100A circuit shutoff box mounted to each post.

Joke's on them. I had to work until 9pm last night so I got to investigate under the cloak of semi-darkness. That sign is exciting though! If only it was a bit taller, you could see it better from Westbound Glenmore. And maybe a couple of 10,000,000 candlepower spot lights.

The underground conduits look to be going straight into the building. Looks like HPWC to me as otherwise they would be going to a transformer pad.

As an electrician this is what I would expect.

Could you not have a transformer and the inverters indoors? I guess ~270kW of charging could give off a fair bit of waste heat that you wouldn't want in the summer.

Yes you could but would be a waist of space. Tesla's charging cabinets and transformers supplied by the utility are weatherproof.

Unless they are in a vault in downtown Toronto...

Some have said June 1 but I'm looking into an official date. We will be looking to host a Grand Opening meetup at the SC.

I called Vancouver SC looking to book a Ranger and they said they have cut Ranger Service bookings now (as noted above) and said it would be open in June or July. While I appreciate they would like to save money, I don't think they should be cancelling their Ranger service until the completion date is closer. I held off booking my annual service because I thought this would be open in March and now when I do try to book they tell me this. I just hope they don't cancel my warranty for waiting too long for service.

If you've requested an appointment they can't deny warranty claims because of their scheduling issues.
