CCS Retrofit Cost for [Model S and X only, at this time - Feb 2023]

I got my retrofit for 2015 Model S 90D as part of annual maintenance work - total cost (including the annual maintenance, retrofit, and adapter) was $620 which seemed like quite a good deal.

That does seems like a good deal! Possible to share copy of the invoice (redacted)? Some service centers are willing to update the estimate if they see similar work performed at a lower cost

I have my install scheduled for Monday.
It will be contingent upon the parts arriving before the appointment.
They’re telling me they can do it while I wait and it will take about an hour.
I will attempt to find out about inclusion of the adapter…

Ok thx! They made me reschedule the appointment and this time it came up as 450 + tax. But I had to cancel because of my travel schedule changes.

I heard from friend the Alhambra SC is charging labor on top of the $450 so it's over $600. Articles I read state the $450 cost includes labor and Tesla's own page seems to infer that.

What gives?

Try a different service center or refer them to Tesla's pricing page. It's $450 plus tax, labor included.

Since when? I've seen people get it. (What year is your Model X?)

I know it isn't available for the Model 3/Y yet, that is supposed to come sometime this summer. But, I think you have to go into the app to check for availability and place an order for the retrofit:

Sign in to the Tesla app to check your vehicle's compatibility and schedule a Service retrofit if needed.

But Available in UK... I thought Tesla was a US Company..

It has been available there for a long time, partially because all V3 Superchargers in the UK only have a CCS connector. (So you have to at least have the adapter, even if you don't have the full retrofit.)
