Charging beyond set limit

I have my charge limit set to 90%.
Plugged in my car at 20% and when I came back it was complete and read 93%.
Any idea why it would charge beyond the limit?
Also, I went for a short drive and returned to the charger at 91% and plugged in. It didn't pull any current and immediately said charging complete.

I've had it happen before. Usually a one-off... I'm curious as well. Maybe a larger than typical temperature delta when charging? Though I would assume that's all accounted for.

Happened to me once. Maybe it charged to 90%, did a battery "re-alignment" and re-calculated the available charge and came up with slightly more than 90%. These readings (either percentage or miles) are all the results of an algorithm to estimate state of charge from cell voltages.
