Also learned on coned site that one can add a second meter for off peak charging of EV. Didn’t know that. Going to talk to them about this.

Did you ever find out about the second meter install cost? It seems to me it must be comparable to or less than installing an EVSE like ChargePoint (in a condo building parking spot) and in the end you get ultra low TOU rates. What did they quote you?

I'm not in that area, but adding a meter can cost about $175 more for my install. It will be highly dependent on location of all the components.
 
interested in doing this, but does it work for a commercial building? I own my warehouse in brooklyn.

You are eligible if you own or lease a plug-in electric vehicle – either a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle or battery electric vehicle, and you charge your vehicle in the Con Edison Service Territory. You do not need to be a Con Edison customer to participate.

The Con Edison Service Territory includes all zip codes in the five boroughs of New York City and Westchester County, except the following Queens and Westchester ZIP codes:
10501, 10505, 10518, 10519, 10521, 10521, 10521, 10526, 10527, 10535, 10536, 10590, 10540, 10560, 10576, 10578, 10576, 10587, 10589, 10590, 10597, 11690, 11691, 11692, 11694, 11695, 11696, and 11697.
