CPO Delivery Timeline Normal?

Hey Folks,

I placed a deposit on a CPO Model S85 on September 26th (super excited!). I have yet to have a delivery date set and it has been more than 3 weeks.

I also received an e-mail asking me to complete a survey asking "How was your Delivery?". Perhaps this is a sign that I'll get a delivery date set today (one can hope :p).

Is this status quo for the CPO process? It seems buggy.
 
I hope not! I put a deposit down last week and haven't been contacted by my Delivery Specialist yet so I keep on brothering my pre-order guy. I was given a timeline for my region and distance (car is in Florida and I'm in NC) of 3-5 weeks, he said it should take 4 weeks. For what I heard and now feel, their communication can be horrible! I'm hoping to get it before Thanksgiving to drive up to NY.
 
Yeah, I ordered mine on the 7th and the website said "14 day delivery available!" And only today did I get an estimated delivery "Oct 31 - Nov 2" which is nearly a month.

I was told that during pre-delivery inspection in Fremont they "found things to repair" but won't tell me what those repairs are.

Is this all with conversation through your delivery experience specialist (before and/ or after) or is that on/ about conversations with the pre-order guys?
 
Ok.....here is my update.....I just called Tesla and called to someone in their delivery team and the car is here already! It shipped from the Florida location to Raleigh, NC this weekend and they said I should be taking delivery of it either later this week or next weekend the latest. Although I am super excited, I am totally unprepared! We were waiting for at least a word on when it was moving and a more accurate date for delivery so now I am scrambling to prepare for its arrival (i.e. electrician, financing being the most important). My advise, call the delivery team!

My DS is unmotivated and never initiates conversation. She did, after two or three calls and emails, tell me that the car was getting repairs without elaboration. MyTesla updated yesterday to show a delivery estimate and still no contact from my DS.
 
I picked mine up today. My DS was cool, and the rest of the delivery team was really great going over features. It seemed like I waited forever, but there was nothing like the drive home. Felt weird just signing a few papers and then leaving. Wasn't even there an hour. Easiest car delivery I've been through yet.

That is excellent, congratulations! Did you trade in a car to them? If you did, what was the process? I will be trading in my CTSV to them.

Yeah, I traded in my Dodge Challenger. It was pretty simple, as they initially gave me an estimated trade in amount. Then you either bring the car into them, or they give you a link to fill out information and take some pictures. I did the latter. It was kind of strange, but had no problems when I dropped the car off yesterday.

I just got an update that it is looking like Nov/9th. I am looking forward to another update today which may pull this date in. That would be 44 days after deposit.

I have a certified/cashiers cheque in hand and made the remaining balance payment online this week expecting that this/next week would be it.

I have the same experience with my delivery rep. They are not initiating the conversation nor helping me to maintain expectations.

I received two questionnaires from Tesla: "How was your delivery?" and "How was your charging installation?" neither of which have happened.
 
I ordered mine last Saturday night. My pre order/CPO guy( Mohamed) said it wouldn't take long considering it's a 2016 with 2200 miles on it.
I signed papers, got financing in order.
Not a peep.
I emailed my DS, but her response was an automated out of office msg.
Just waiting....
 
The latest update is that they are waiting for a seat replacement. The lead time is 4 weeks. That puts me at 10 weeks after placing the deposit (aka 70 days).

Let's see if they come back and are able to pull the delivery date in. This was very disappointing to hear.
