The long journey is over! I got my Tesla two days ago (they sure did wait to the last day in June 😂) I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! My delivery specialist kept me updated the entire time throughout the shipping process. I waited approximately two weeks from when it arrived in Honolulu to finally get it shipped on a barge to my island. All the frustration left when I got behind the wheel. Just wanted to do a quick check in and update on my fantastic ride!
Mahalo!
Congratulations!! What are the plans for charging? Do you have access to a supercharger? Probably not going on any big road trips.

Busy 2 weeks with Tesla - MY delivered, follow-up service completed, PPF/Ceramic/Tint/Calipers done and the Acura and Harley sold. All that’s left is for some red decals on the wheels and then it’s time for some real driving. All in all it’s been a relatively pleasant experience with no serious setbacks so I lucked out. I do need to thank everyone who contributed info to this forum. I learned quite a bit and have definitely made use of many tips I’ve learned along the way.

Sure sounds a lot like legal speak which means Tesla can change it and you must like it (any changes).

Most customers would expect that changes should be for the better however and not in the form of a no notice reduction in our car features... also in line with the prices paid AND feature list at time of order, not delivery time.

We will check out that lumbar adjust and if it is not working or missing on either side of the front seats, plan to ask the SC to fix.
Just curious as to whether anyone has had success in reporting this as a defect and actually getting it fixed?

order MYLR (dark grey, black interior, 20" wheels) on 6/1. dates jumped around and a few days ago got the 'September' message. Next day it updated to the last two weeks in August. Now today its back to just 'September' -_-

im confident a higher power is trying to teach me some kind of lesson in patience
I ordered on 06/10 in Im on same boat, now it’s showing 08/07-08/30 for last 3 days…… but I was at 07/30-08/20

We brought our MY to Springfield SC with an appointment. Inspecting the passengers lumbar, they said it is no longer included.
Means we bought that feature but do not get it. Is it going to change our mind on MY, no.
Anyone out there get this passenger lumbar added after delivery?

My experience with Springfield has been positive thus far. They’ve been good enough to address several minor complaints. As for passenger lumber, definitely not a deal breaker for me. My dog will sit in the passenger seat 90% of the time and he couldn’t care less about lumbar.

I can't believe these delivery quotes. I ordered 10 days ahead of you and I'm at July 29 - August 18 for the past several days.
Black | Black | 19 | Tow | 7 seater | FSD
Spirits are crushed so slowly w/ Tesla. Ordered 5/17, CT resident - Shipping to Mt. Kisco. MSM, induction, black/5, no tow, no fsd. Delivery steady August. Now showing Aug 27th-September 26th. Jeez ❤️‍🔥

If I recall correctly, someone even requested to purchase the missing parts from SC, which is a very simple switch+controller that’s missing, and they declined. SC would only sell you the part if your VIN matched a build with that component present. So the parts are definitely for sale, for the older Model Ys, but they won’t sell to owners of more recent Model Y. Very, very, different than a dealership parts counter, where they would love to sell you and order for you anything in their catalog.

The bummer part about waiting (on top of being impatient) is that if you use financing through Tesla it is only good for 60 days. You would think that they would either make it 90 or do what they need to do to get it faster than 60.

Sad that I remember as a kid my dad ordering the new cars we got and I can't remember it taking this long...

Ordered MYLR MSM 20" Induction 7seat black interior on June 19 and have current date of 21 August to 10 September. My financing approval expires on 18 August. Thanks for the inquiry on my credit report for a loan that will expire.

That’s how I feel. I ordered on Saturday 5/15, got a call the next Monday from the bank (since I have an extended fraud alert on my credit), and then got the approval about 30 seconds after that call. Now I have a hard inquiry for an approval which will expire on 7/16.

That was no big deal when I had an EDD of early/mid June. It’s annoying as hell now that my order has slipped into August. It took months of calls/letters/reports to get my credit back where it ought to be after someone opened a store credit card in my name a few years ago, and while a single hard inquiry is neither fraudulent nor a huge impact on my creditworthiness, it would be an understatement to say that I’m a little protective of that credit right now.
