I’ve always had my estimate as 6 to 9 weeks from order. This morning it finally changed to actual date range, June 9 to June 26 now. Finally some movement!
I would say the date thing is totally pointless.

why? well last night at around 8pm wife checked-still said june 19-30. 10:56, it said may 27-30 had VIN! then today no vin and just says 5-9 weeks.

I think this update thing completely destroyed whatever system they had to plan and track production.

Anyone having their trade in expected to expire right now? I'm 31 days after accepting the trade in offer, and there is no email or any website changes telling me to update the trade in yet. I also have a EDD of June 3 - 23 right now. Not sure what's going on and how the timing will play out.
FWIW, mine expired over the weekend. I had put 500 miles on it since last time. Submitted the new mileage and the offer did not change.

Nice!!! Now the fun begins…gotta figure out payment and how to go pick it up. If I can even pick it up today.
Remind me - you were one of the ones like me that just had a blank where delivery dates should be, right? I ordered 5/8 and have still never once had any weeks/dates/estimates for delivery. It has been blank the entire time. I seem to remember maybe you had the same deal. So I was encouraged to see you went from nothing to VIN 👍

Did you select option #4 to contact a delivery specialist? I would even try calling other stores so they can press your store's employees. They're super busy right now, delivering non-stop. Probably easier for things to fall through the cracks, unfortunately.
Yes, option 4 rang and went to voicemail.

SA finally picked up when I called his direct number, he said earliest was 4:00 PM today. That was too late for me.

scheduled for June 1st ...all good. Phew.

I have to bring a Cashiers Check with me at pickup... My Credit Union where I have my checking account does not seem to be supported by their payment system (Can't connect to your Financial Institution), so I called Tesla and they said that bringing a Cashiers Check is fine.. Went to my Credit Union already and got the Cashiers Check... 3.5 hours until pickup.. I'm excited!!

similar to what I must do.

Get check from cred union, then wire or bring check to Tesla. But... I cant do that until money is in MY account for 24+ hrs. :/ I was ready to go with VIN this morning. Was about to call insurance. glad I checked again.

good luck!!!!

I'm in that boat - by all accounts my trade would be expired at this point (34 days out), but I decided that I am selling it to Carmax instead, since their offer increased by $3k in that timeframe. I'm not making a stink of it with Tesla so as to not rock the boat, and I'm just going to cross my fingers that it is a non-issue when it comes to finalizing payment.

So, how do I make my payment and schedule pickup??? There is no VIN but no button to pay or schedule delivery????
I am still behind trying to catch up and I don’t know if your question has been answered by someone else but I also got my VIN today !!! I went ahead and called Tampa SC, choose 4 for delivery. That’s how I scheduled mine (Saturday!) and the payment button then appeared on my Tesla page.

Exactly. My trade in car is 15 years old and I'm happy with any amount as long as it is higher than a taxi ride to the delivery site or a tow truck to the junk yard. I just don't want the expiry notice to fire right before I'm about to be assigned a VIN and delay the delivery.
