Correct, but Fremont was solely manufacturing M3's previously during the first month of the quarter, or was I misinformed?
Yes, you're right in that Fremont produced the M3s worldwide. I was thinking in the context of MYs specifically. Not sure if they shift the first month of the quarter to only doing M3s for international but that definitely sounds like a plausible explanation.

What options do you choose? I just got sent to voicemail. Never got an option to be called back.

Got a call from a Delivery Associate in response to a text I had sent my SA about delivery dates. She said they're having a tech issue which is causing EDD to show some "crazy stuff."

Stupid question, I'm leasing. I have the queue to enter final payment and set up auto payment. I don't want to give Tesla my account details. If I don't enter my info, will they send me a monthly bill? Would I be able to use my bank's web bill pay?

I'm fully prepared for my car to be ready for pickup when I'm on vacation, because that would be my luck. I have contingency plans I'm working on if this happens.
You could inquire about the touchless delivery provided you live close enough to a delivery/service center. Some people would say that's stupid because you're accepting a car without inspecting it. But I think there's enough recent evidence to show Tesla has most of it's quality issues in check. I've only seen one or two people in the last few months say they refused delivery due to quality issues.

Orderd 4/28 Got delivered today. Vin was a 188 no Lumber or radar. Car looks great, paint excellent outside a scratch. One side is flawless panel wise, the other side one door is ever so slightly off. Im going to report it and see what happens. There is some inconsistency with the fabric on the pillar inside in terms of tightness, and I will report that also. But otherwise it looks solid thank god!
Does yours have the added washer nozzles on the windshield wipers?

I actually just got off the phone with them and someone picked up right away after I entered my zip code. I am in Greenville, SC and the closest DC is in Charlotte, NC and that is who picked up. I don't know if they always put you with the closest one when you call that number but it would make sense. He was super nice and, as usual, didn't have much information to share.

I mentioned to him my concern that I ordered on 5/8 and had late June EDD dates this whole time until a few days ago when it shifted to September 13 to October 3. I asked him if he thought that was even possible and he said it seems highly unlikely, and is waiting for the Model S event on the 10th to see some other things announced and hopefully things will calm down a bit with the crazy dates everyone has been seeing. He said he would be extremely surprised if it actually took until October to get my car. If it was a Model S, he would not be surprised...but a Model Y, there is no reason it would take that long.

He said they are unbelievably busy at that location, as they all are, and they plan to deliver over 1,400 just at Charlotte this month. he said there are still 23 days left in the quarter and they plan to deliver as many as possible of course, so fingers crossed I'll see my dates change to something earlier than late Sep/early Oct.

I don't know why I'm sharing all of this other than to just let you all know what I heard in case you find it interesting. :)

I do not live close enough for that, but I would just pay for third party carrier, which should add additional time to the actual delivery. I'm only gone for a little over a week so I shouldn't have to get too drastic in my planning.

I do thank you for that idea though, much appreciated.

I have to say, I am very happy with my scheduled pick up date (if it holds) because if there’s some crazy announcement on 6/10 relating to the Y, I can choose to delay or not but FSD today if it’s really “only” going to be $199/mo for subscription - which would be cheap unless they force an annual buy.
Is it expected to be around $199/mo? I'm not sure if I can justify that cost for the current features of FSD.

This is brutal - I've been sitting on hold for 45 minutes, no music or anything. I just got my vin (209xxx) after clicking through the Tesla vision wonder page. My earliest EDD was moving back a day at a time (went from 6/14 to 6/20 with a latest 6/30 date. After the click-through, its now 6/18 to 6/24. I need these guys to switch my "cash" option to "finance".

I've been thinking some interesting / impactful announcement might be coming at the Model S event concerning Ys - maybe some news on the new batteries or whatever. The poor guys on the S forum who ordered Plaid+ are talking a bit about it after the cancellation of Plaid+
